[1]. newspaper 光感知色素を結合、タンパク質の構造解明 (2019/4/3)
[Summary]光合成細菌シアノバクテリアから発見された遠赤色光を吸収する色素ビリベルジンを結合するタンパク質との比較により、別の色素を結合するタンパク質をビリベルジンを結合するタンパク質に改変することに成功し、その分子構造を明らかにした。これは光を当てることによって細胞や遺伝子の働きを制御することや特定の細胞を光らせて観察するなど、光遺伝学や医学の分野での応用が期待される。
